Mold Remediation in the UAE

We locate the growth and treat the affected surfaces.

Why it matters

When to book Mold Remediation

An air conditioner creates the conditions mold thrives in: cool surfaces, constant condensation and a dark, enclosed space. When a drain line blocks or a coil never fully dries between cycles, moisture sits inside the unit and growth follows — often spreading onto the diffuser and the ceiling around it. Because the unit moves air through the whole room, it carries that musty smell with it every time it runs. Wiping the visible spots does not solve it; unless the moisture behind the growth is dealt with, it comes back.

Signs your AC needs it

  • Black or dark green spots on the vents, the diffuser or the ceiling around it
  • A musty, damp smell when the AC first switches on
  • Water stains or damp patches on the ceiling near the unit
  • Mold that returned after it was wiped away
  • Water leaking or dripping from the indoor unit

A real Mold Remediation job carried out by our technicians.

What Mold Remediation involves

Mold takes hold wherever moisture sits — usually a blocked drain line, or a coil that never fully dries between cycles. Cleaning the surface alone means it is back within weeks. We remove the growth, treat the affected surfaces, and then deal with the drainage that caused it, so the unit dries properly after every cycle.

What the visit involves

  • Inspect the unit and surrounding ceiling to find the extent of the growth
  • Remove growth from the affected components and surfaces
  • Treat the surfaces to slow regrowth
  • Clear the drainage that caused the moisture build-up
  • Growth removal
  • Surface treatment
  • Drainage check

Ask on WhatsApp
  • Because the moisture feeding it is still there. The usual cause is a blocked drain line, or a coil that never fully dries between cycles. Cleaning the surface removes what you can see, but unless the drainage is fixed the growth returns within weeks — which is why clearing the drainage is part of the job.

  • You can wipe visible spots off a diffuser, but most of the growth is usually inside the unit — on the coil, the blower and the drain pan — and cannot be reached without opening it up. Surface cleaning also leaves the moisture problem that caused it in place.

  • Yes. Growth often spreads beyond the unit onto the diffuser and the ceiling around it, so we inspect the surrounding area first to see how far it extends before any work starts.

  • No, they are different jobs. Mold remediation removes existing growth and fixes the moisture that caused it. Disinfection treats the internal surfaces of the unit to help reduce odours and keep the air moving through it cleaner.
