A general clean of a single split unit usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes. A deep clean takes longer, roughly 60 to 90 minutes per unit, because the blower and coils are cleaned in place. We confirm the expected time when you book.
It often does. Dust builds up on filters, coils and the blower wheel and restricts airflow, so the unit has to run longer to reach the same temperature. Clearing that build-up restores airflow and helps the system cool more effectively.
